HLFM 2016 Thanksgiving Trail Clearing & Clean Up

The Henry L. Ferguson Museum is Hosting it’s
10th Annual Thanksgiving Trail Clearing & Clean Up
(Plus “Oysters After” Party)

When: Friday, November 25, 2016  Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Where: Meet at the Museum before proceeding to the Nature Trails

Tools: Please bring tools you can handle effectively and SAFELY.

Beaches: Driven by popular demand, the museum will provide heavy-duty garbage bags for those preferring to clean rather than clear the trails and beaches.

Suggested Dress: Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, socks and gloves to battle the thorns, ivy, and perhaps a tick or two.

All trail blazers are invited immediately thereafter to a post-clearing party at the museum from approximately 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Come enjoy Fishers Island oysters provided by the Fishers Island Oyster Farm, with Summer Shuckers and drinks provided by Bottlerocket.
